Antonia Fontana

Antonia has been practising exclusively in family law since her admission in 2007.

Antonia represents her clients in the full range of family law matters including divorce, parenting, property, spousal maintenance and child support matters in a sensitive and practical manner.

She has extensive experience in surrogacy matters and dealing with issues confronting same sex couples and blended families.

Antonia is accredited by the Attorney General’s Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator who is authorised to undertake mediation in family law matters (as well as other areas of law). Her extensive experience as a Family Lawyer has enabled her to develop strong skills that are crucial in assisting parties to reach an agreement as quickly and as amicably as possible.

Antonia chaired the NSW Young Lawyers Family Law Committee for three years and has also participated in the Family Issues Committee of the Law Society as a Young Lawyer representative.

She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Law Society of New South Wales and the Mediation Institute.
